Dr. Arianna Molloy got her Ph.D. from the University of Denver, as well as holding an M.A. and a B.A. She is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies and has a passion for meaningful work and work as a calling. Dr. Allen Yeh is an Associate Professor of Intercultural Studies. He got his doctorate from Oxford, and also holds an M.Div, an M.Th, and a B.A. from Yale. Arianna and Allen are also parents to a wonderful boy.
On this episode, they talk about marriage and what that looks like for them. They also debunk some of the common evangelical marriage myths that persist today.

LaDawn Prieto Johnson is a current professor of sociology at Biola University. Having worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker with LAUSD in the lowest-performing schools in Los Angeles, she learned first-hand about family, gender and violence against the multicultural backdrop of the city. Interacting with several local and governmental agencies to address growing issues of human trafficking, poverty, gang violence, prostitution, and safety for the family. Her current research focuses on gender-based violence in refugee camps in central Africa. Currently, she is completing her PhD in Intercultural Studies and resides in Southern California with her husband, two teen sons and their family dog Banjo and rabbit Sassy.
On this episode, we talk about her story and what it means to be healthy in your sexuality, specifically as a woman.

Matt Jenson is a systematic theologian specializing in theological anthropology and ecclesiology, but he got his start in the doctrine of sin. Having grown up in southern California, Jenson holds a B.A. in literature and philosophy from Wheaton College and a Ph.D. in systematic theology from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland). Jenson is a happy and grateful part of Fountain of Life Covenant Church in Long Beach and an ordained minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church.
We talk about singleness and his journey as a single man. I am so excited for you guys to hear from him! This is part one of a two part conversation we are having. The second part will be released on Thursday!

On this episode, Dee Dee and Anna talk to us about contraceptives. We talk through how we should be thinking about these methods of birth control and what some of the types are! I’m excited for you guys to hear from them.
Dee Dee Dirks and Anna Peery are certified nurse midwives who work together in a hospital based midwifery practice in Los Angeles. They both have experience with homebirth, birth center, and hospital based birth and well women gynecology.
DeeDee has been a midwife for over 29 years and graduated from the USC’s Nurse Midwifery Education program. Dee Dee is an adjunct nursing faculty with Biola University in Women’s Health. Anna is a graduate of Biola University’s nursing program and Cal State Fullerton’s nurse midwife program.

On this episode, we have Roe and Jim Dodgen back with us. We talk about family of origin and how that plays into pornography and attachment.
Jim and Roe have been married 44 years, Jim owns his own business and is a career coach and a futurist . Roe is adjunct faculty and a staff spiritual director at a local seminary. Both of them are very involved with Treasures, a nonprofit that serves trafficked victims and women coming out of the sex industry. Through Treasures, Roe has been in 6 different countries training or working with women in the sex industry. And for the past 20 years, they have mentored couples struggling with sexual brokenness!
